WorkDone Joins Y Combinator’s Spring 2025 Batch

We’re excited to announce that WorkDone is now part of Y Combinator’s Spring 2025 (X25) batch.

This marks a major milestone for our company and our mission: to help healthcare organizations prevent small documentation errors from becoming costly compliance failures.

Why Y Combinator?

At its core, WorkDone is solving a fundamental problem in healthcare — ensuring that documentation is not only completed but done correctly, consistently, and in real time. In an industry where missing a discharge note or entering the wrong medication time can lead to denied claims, audits, or delays in care, compliance is not just a back-office issue. It’s a frontline priority.

We’ve built WorkDone to be an AI compliance copilot that actively monitors clinical workflows, detects issues as they happen, and helps staff fix them before they cause damage. This goes far beyond transcription or passive documentation support. It's about safeguarding every step of the process — including checking the work of AI scribing tools themselves.

Joining Y Combinator gives us the momentum, resources, and community to take this vision even further.

How YC Helps Our Mission

Y Combinator has a proven track record of helping category-defining companies scale fast and stay focused on what matters most: building products that solve real problems.

For us, that means:

  • Access to top-tier healthcare and AI founders who’ve tackled regulatory complexity, hospital integrations, and go-to-market in conservative industries
  • Intense product feedback and iteration cycles that will help us sharpen the WorkDone platform for frontline clinical teams and compliance officers alike
  • Support in fundraising, talent acquisition, and long-term strategy so we can grow responsibly — without compromising our mission or our values

Most importantly, YC shares our belief that automation in healthcare must be safe, measurable, and human-centric. That’s exactly what we’re building with WorkDone.

What’s Next

With Y Combinator behind us, we’re doubling down on our mission: giving every healthcare organization a simple way to ensure documentation is done right — whether it’s typed by a nurse, dictated by a doctor, or generated by AI.

We're actively working with early customers, especially in rehab centers and hospitals in California, Texas, and Florida, where claim denials and compliance errors cost millions each year.

Over the coming months, you’ll see more updates from us as we expand our product capabilities, grow our team, and continue proving that real-time documentation QA is not just possible — it's essential.

Let’s Build Healthcare That Doesn’t Break Under Pressure

We're honored to join the Y Combinator community and grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. If you're a provider, compliance lead, or health IT leader facing documentation challenges, we’d love to talk.

Let’s build the future of healthcare compliance — together.
